Today, Room 15 started the last chapter of the math book, Chapter 11 on Geometry. They found the polygons presented there pretty easy, so we'll move on to triangle types tomorrow. Homework was Practice Book 11.1, both sides.
Meanwhile, Room 12 studied three dimensional figures, classifying them as polyhedrons, prisms, pyramids, and the like. No homework. In Science, Room 15 has a quiz on magnets and magnetism on Wednesday. There's a link to the Quizlet I set up for studying on my Google Classroom page. The kids know how to get to it. We also finished up our study of the Science of Sound Tomorrow is "Step Up Day," where the kids in both homerooms will meet their 6th grade teacher for next year!
