Tomorrow we'll have a math test on Chapter 3 (Addition and Subtraction of Decimals). So tonight's homework is to review and complete the practice test we began in class. I don't have a copy to post to the Google Classroom, sorry.
Thanks again to everyone who's participated already in the Boosterthon fundraiser. It's still in full swing, so anyone who hasn't registered at funrun.com or gotten any pledges, there's still plenty of time! Tomorrow is "Cozy Feet Day" in Room 12, an incentive prize won by our homeroom for raising over $10 per lap for the Fun Run so far. Students are encouraged to bring fuzzy slippers, sandals, cabin socks, or whatever makes their feet feel "cozy" to change into during homeroom to show off our class spirit.

Tonight both homerooms have Practice Book 3.8 (both sides) for math homework, and should study for their vocab quiz in Science.
Students are also encouraged to go to funrun.com and log in as a student for our Boosterthon fundraiser, which kicked off today for a school assembly. Anyone who can get an early pledge from a generous donor will receive a prize tomorrow! There's no written homework tonight; in math class we spent the period reviewing the work the children did with Mr. Koski (the substitute teacher) on Tuesday.
In Science we studied a little bit together for Friday's vocabulary quiz. Homework tonight is to study some more! I'll put the list of words on the Google Classroom tonight, and there's already a link there to some Quizlet activities to help the kids study. It was a topsy-turvy kind of day today in our class. We had Second Steps at 8:20 and a Veterans Day assembly at 10:30. In between, we got ready for tomorrow's decimals quiz.
The homework from Wednesday is due tomorrow... the decimals sheet ("Travel the Blue Road to the West") and the morning math. Room 12 only has ONE side of the morning math due, but Room 15 has both sides. All can be downloaded on the Google Classroom, too. One of my students is standing next to me as I type, demanding that I stop deliberately misspelling the months of the year. Octumber, Novebuary, Decanuary, et cetera. Perhaps next week we'll give credence to the correct spellings. For now, be aware that our math homework tonight is not due until Friday. It's a review worksheet called "Travel the Blue Road to the West."
The Morning Math from Monday is also due on Friday. Both assignments can be downloaded on the Google Classroom. |
