In Science class this afternoon we reviewed the water cycle. This is a very familiar topic to Shaw School students, as it was covered in 4th grade and in one of the younger grades as well. So after a brief review, Room 12 worked on a task card activity, while Room 15 watched a Mystery Science presentation on why the winter weather gets so cold in this hemisphere.
In Math, Room 12 did some complex problem solving, while Room 15 reviewed the division of decimals. Room 12 has Practice Book 5.8 for homework, while Room 15 has Practice Book 5.7.
