We took advantage of our double math period this morning to engage in a STEAM/Engineering project. The question was, "How many snowmen can you assemble in two minutes?" Students were split into teams of four or five students to build snowmen, assembly-line style, from clay, craft store eyes, toothpicks, straws, and twist ties. They looked at some math questions about the project as well.
Hence, no math homework tonight. We did break out a little math in the afternoon, but not enough for a new assignment. In Science, we still have a vocabulary quiz scheduled for Friday.
