I gave students in Rooms 12 and 15 an opportunity this morning to improve the grades on their Chapter 4 tests by letting them redo some of the items they got wrong the first time through. The mistakes they made were those that I felt could be rectified by just a little more instruction.
Students who had already achieved a good grade on the test worked on some challenging problem solving and math puzzles. Tomorrow we'll all start a chapter on division of decimals. In Science, both classes learned a little about producers, consumers, and decomposers in the food chain. No homework for Room 12; Room 15 has a Science worksheet to finish, using their textbooks (pgs 103-105).
