IMPORTANT UPDATE:
It looks like a lot of students need to wait until evening to do their school work every day during the school closure. So instead of posting the next day's work every day by 5:00, I'm going to post it every morning before 8:00 a.m. That will give everyone the whole day to do everything and let everyone stay caught up. I'm signing off for the day, but will be available tomorrow and on every school day from 8:00 till 2:30. THE Work for Monday, March 16th:
Math: Go Math book pages 55-56. This is a Chapter 1 Review. You do not have to do questions 1, 12, 13, or 14. If you need help remembering how to do any of this work, look back at the lessons in the chapter for a reminder. I will also be available for questions on Monday during regular school hours. I will post a PDF file of pages 55-56 for students who do not have their Go Math books. It will be in the "Documents" section of this website. The PDF file is different from the Go Math book...if you're using it, you don't have to do the section labeled "Lesson 1.3." Science: Go to your Google Forms and do ONE of these things. 1) Finish your Rubber Ducky story and share it with me. I will post directions for the story in case you forgot them. They will be found in the "Documents" section of this website. OR 2) Edit/Fix your Rubber Ducky story. I have gone into all of the finished Google Docs you sent me and put in my editing suggestions. Anything I've highlighted in BOLDFACE is a mistake in punctuation or capitalization... a missing comma or period, a missing capital letter, etc. Anything I UNDERLINED is a misspelled word or an incorrect word choice.. and anything I CROSSED OUT shouldn't be there at all. I also underlined large bits of the essays that had conversation. You'll see my comments below your work if you have these large underlined areas. Remember to share the Google Doc with your story with me. And remember that I will be available for questions during school hours tomorrow. Today in math we did a CFA and we reviewed the one that we had yesterday. In science we did a story and we wrote some stuff on a piece a paper. PS < We will be out of school until March 30-- see the letter from the superintendent.
Today in math for room 12 we had second step for first period. Then we reviewed the practice test. Morning math due tomorrow. In science we finished our math test. PS. Remember to bring in your pie permission slip for tomorrow so the students can eat some pie.
