In Math today, Room 12 took the Chapter 8 Math test. They seemed ready for it when we practiced on Monday, so I hope they do well. Room 15 studied fractions as division problems, e.g. If there are three pieces of paper to share equally and only two people, what fraction of a paper do they each get (answer: 2/3 of a piece).
Homework for Room 12 is a worksheet called "Tournament Free Throws," a practice sheet with computation problems. Room 15 has Practice Book 8.3, both sides. In Science, Room 15 discussed different kinds of energy and read some of their essays from yesterday. Room 12 focused on light energy with a discussion about color and refraction, reflection, and absorption.
